UWTSD Sports Camp Returns This Easter, Offering Fun-filled Activities and Skill Development Opportunities
Following the resounding success of last year’s Sports Camp at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), we’re delighted to announce the return of our Easter Sports Camp.
Designed to provide an enriching experience for children in the local community, as well as the families of staff and students, the Sports Camp offers a perfect blend of fun activities and skill-building exercises.
Scheduled to take place at the University’s Sports Centre on the Carmarthen Campus and the Cynefin Centre for Outdoor Adventure Education in Johnstown, the Easter Sports Camp promises exciting adventures on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 26th & 27th, and April 2nd & 3rd. Additionally, the Cynefin Camp will be held on Thursday, March 28th, and Thursday, April 4th. From 9 am to 4 pm, participants can engage in a variety of activities aimed at enhancing their personal, social, and athletic skills. For added convenience, an 8:30 am drop-off option is available upon request.
Led by experienced lecturers and supported by enthusiastic students, the sessions promise a blend of learning and fun. “We are thrilled to build upon the success of last year’s Summer and October Sports Camps,” said Bryn Jones, Sports Camp Coordinator at UWTSD. “These camps offer a fantastic opportunity for local children to utilise our top-notch sporting facilities while our students gain valuable experience working in an environment they are passionate about. It’s not just about staying active during the holidays; it’s about fostering holistic development.”
In line with its commitment to accessibility, UWTSD has priced the Sports Camp at £25 per day or £40 for two days. Participants are required to bring packed lunch and drinks.
